Gateful undead: Brian Ralph’s Daybreak breathes life into tired zombie genre

Congrats to SCAD sequential art professor Brian Ralph, whose graphic novel, “Daybreak,” debuted at the No. 6 spot on the New York Times Best Sellers list for hardcover graphic books! “Daybreak” combines the classic zombie genre with a unique first-person point of view. As a silent observer, the reader follows a mysterious one-armed man in their fight for survival against the imminent zombie threat.
