Tragedy Breeds Comedy?

Let me tell you something about the Albums Actor and Marry Me by St. Vincent…

I listened to these two albums finally for the most part after having them in a playlist on my Itunes for a week or so. I took a walk to see my adviser and to go to the package center and usually I like to listen to a specific playlist, and its a nice day and ive been wanting to listen to her stuff so I finally did and….damn.

This is music, there was no doubt in my mind after listening to Paris is Burning a a while back that her albums were gonna be good but they’re perfect (to me at least) I havent gotten all the way through Marry Me yet (Actor is listed first on my playlist) but They are both fantastic albums. Right up my alley in my favorite types of music to listen to. I like to think of the perfect album as one that you can go through the whole album without wanting to skip a song and you want every song to be in the movie about your life.

lol random pairing but its because Kaitlin re-blogged a picuture of Annie Clark a while back and a drawing and I remember loving the drawing and thinking the person was very pretty so I looked her up and saw she was a musician so after that I was listening to Both Hands (Black Rainbows) by Childish Gambino and in he he references Annie Clark and also hes totally rapping over Black Rainbows by St. Vincent so I looked up a random song (Paris is Burning) listened to it and decided I must have her music in my life.

So I acquired them and today I finally got to give them a listen and I am very very pleased so thank you 29-years and Donald Glover!
