So today I went to a workshop for the career fair
in it/after it I learned a lot and I feel like I’m more ready for the fair (which is Friday)
a lot of big companies are going to be there and the one I’m anticipating the most is Turner Broadcasting (Cartoon Network/Adult Swim etc)
And today I also learned Nick Animation was going to be there!
I’m going to try and meet with them but they don’t have on site appointments (Gonna be an insanely super long fucking line)
but even so, I’m gonna try. I’m gonna make the appointments with the other places I want to see and then go wait to see Nick
but if I do that
I need to crap out some sexy character designs
because they are looking for character designers and I don’t have any good turnarounds so my next few 1 A Day’s will be character design stuff.

Wait…Finn and Jake live here?!

SCAD was like “class of 2012 is gone…let’s get some seats at the O-House bus stop now. These new guys don’t need the ass pain” #SCAD #ohouse #alotofsmallnotablerenovations #makesmewannalingeraround

Talk about dedication to your craft!
Dove McHargue, a SCAD alumni and current SCAD sequential art professor, dressed up the family as The Avengers to see “The Amazing Spider-Man” in 3D yesterday as part of the Savannah Film Festival.
The screening was followed by a Q&A with Stan Lee.
lol I wonder if someone has told Dove him and his family are all over Tumblr…
probably.
Well after being misled and waiting at Marshall House for an hour….I didn’t get to meet Stan Lee. But it was a true honor being in his presence. His characters and stories are why I studied Sequential Art and love comics so much. I just wanted to shake his hand and tell him that. Maybe one day…
So every year at the Savannah Film Festival they do a Directors Choice which is essentially one of, if not the most anticipated movie of the fall. So I was trying to figure out what it is.
I bet it’s either
The Hobbit or Hitchcock
Possibly Hitchcock since they’re showing The Girl
but even more so The Hobbit because it’s the Hobbit.
But that’s a ways away.
it’s not gonna be Twilight….
either way…
anyone have any tickets they are willing to part with/
Every year at SCAD they have a masquerade ball.
Nothing extravagant, just a a big Halloween party at the Student Center.
You dress up, stand in a really long line and then go in they and teach everyone how to dougie Gangam style and it’s a good time.
Unfortunately, since I no longer attend classes and I don’t get emails about student happenings around campus anymore I missed the fact that it was tonight.
Which fucking sucks because I kept imagining being dressed as Bane and threating everyones life all chill like.
ugh.
well…
well
